Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg rehab night shift position requiring a NM or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Medical Surgical unit in a rehabilitation hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30, with option for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Uses Epic charting system (experience preferred)
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Provides nursing care to patients in a rehab medical-surgical environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved
• No RTO allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Locals within 50 miles not eligible
• Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler
