CVOR RN Job Details

• Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
• On-call: No call required
• Holiday Coverage: Possible holiday coverage
• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking: Free and convenient for night/weekend shifts

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse)
• Experience circulating all services: CT, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Colorectal, Robotics, Bariatric
• Scrubbing experience in Vascular/General cases highly preferred
• Active South Carolina or Multi-state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Radiation badge (provided by agency)
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures: Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and more
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, Respiratory, Radiology, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety standards
• Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
• Provide holiday coverage as needed
