Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active Aesthetician License (CT, NJ, and/or NY required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical aesthetic or dermatology setting
- Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare products, laser/light-based treatments, and injectables
- Understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Ability to work Saturdays
Must Haves:
- Conduct in-depth skin consultations and build customized, results-driven treatment plans aligned with patient goals
- Perform advanced treatments including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, acne treatments, and microcurrent therapies
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, product usage, and long-term skin health strategies
- Maintain detailed and compliant patient records, including treatment history, product recommendations, and follow-up care
- Track referral sources and manage patient communication, including follow-ups and consultation summaries
- Monitor and maintain clinical equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance
- Manage inventory levels for both retail and clinical products, including ordering and stock organization
- Contribute to clinical education initiatives such as training materials, presentations, and onboarding of new staff
- Participate in hands-on training and mentoring of new hires as part of clinical orientation programs
- Support revenue growth through thoughtful product and service recommendations based on patient needs
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in a high-volume MedSpa or dermatology practice
- Exposure to advanced aesthetic technologies and procedures
- Strong retail and consultative sales experience in a clinical setting
- Experience training or mentoring other clinicians
- Confident, engaging personality with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Passion for continued education and staying current with industry trends
