Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Active Aesthetician License (CT, NJ, and/or NY required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical aesthetic or dermatology setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare products, laser/light-based treatments, and injectables
  • Understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Ability to work Saturdays

Must Haves:

  • Conduct in-depth skin consultations and build customized, results-driven treatment plans aligned with patient goals
  • Perform advanced treatments including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, acne treatments, and microcurrent therapies
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, product usage, and long-term skin health strategies
  • Maintain detailed and compliant patient records, including treatment history, product recommendations, and follow-up care
  • Track referral sources and manage patient communication, including follow-ups and consultation summaries
  • Monitor and maintain clinical equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance
  • Manage inventory levels for both retail and clinical products, including ordering and stock organization
  • Contribute to clinical education initiatives such as training materials, presentations, and onboarding of new staff
  • Participate in hands-on training and mentoring of new hires as part of clinical orientation programs
  • Support revenue growth through thoughtful product and service recommendations based on patient needs

Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience in a high-volume MedSpa or dermatology practice
  • Exposure to advanced aesthetic technologies and procedures
  • Strong retail and consultative sales experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience training or mentoring other clinicians
  • Confident, engaging personality with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Passion for continued education and staying current with industry trends
