Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital-based outpatient clinic
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive orthopaedic care with a focus on hand or foot/ankle surgery; average 25+ patients/day; participate in 1:4 general ortho call rotation; utilize MAKO robotic surgical technology
Required Procedures: General orthopedic procedures; preferred focus in hand or foot/ankle surgery
EMR System: Cerner Community Works
Support Staff: 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 PAs
Days Per Month: Full-time (40 hours/week)
On-Call/Weekends: 1:4 call rotation; weekday call first covered by PAs with MD backup; weekend call as part of rotation

Submission Requirements:

• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery

• If board eligible, provide graduation date

• Clean malpractice history

• CPR (prior to start)

• DEA (prior to start)

• BLS (prior to start)

• Active Vermont medical license (prior to start)
