Acute Wounds (during inflammatory, proliferative and remodeling phases), Surgical Wounds (Intentionally Caused by Surgeons During an Operating Procedure), Traumatic Wounds (Severe scrapes or Scratches to the Skin, Deep Puncture Wounds, Tears or Incisions (cuts) and Burns), Surgical Non-Healing Wounds, Ulcers (Arterial, Pressure, Venous Insufficiency, Diabetic), Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Pilonidal Cysts, Gangrene, Radiation injury, Burns
Treatments Used:
Bioengineered Skin, Debridement, Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), Incision and Drainage, Negative Pressure-Assisted Wound Closure, Post-surgical incision management, Skin grafting, Unna Boot, Total contact casting
Requirements:
- BLS - REQUIRED
- ACLS preferred for HBO
- Active OH license - REQUIRED
