The Mechanic Shop Supervisor oversees vehicle inspections, manages workflow, and ensures timely completion of tasks in an automotive repair shop. They supervise employees, enforce safety regulations, manage resources, and communicate with management to meet operational goals. The role requires leadership, organizational skills, relevant automotive experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday (Tue-F 7am-4pm, Sa 6am-430pm)

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $65,600.00 - $98,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. What You'll Do
- Supervising the inspection of vehicles.
- Managing the workflow and activities of the shop employees to ensure that all vehicles are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring employees have the proper equipment and are properly trained.
- Communicating and resolving reconditioning goals, results, and problems with the operations manager.
- Assisting manager in monitoring and evaluating employee job performance and conducting performance appraisals.
- Using management tools to track production and post charges.
- Leading by example and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
- Monitoring and controlling the use of supplies, materials, and equipment for the recon shop.
- Enforcing all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.

Minimum:
- HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience in a related field (vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical and/or body shop experience); or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Preferred:
- Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interaction skills.
- A working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations is preferred.
