Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current BLS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care setting within a Level 2 trauma environment
- Nuclear Medicine department with shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM
- On-call required every 5 weeks for a full week (Monday through Sunday), working alone but with hospital support available
- Every other holiday coverage required
- EPIC charting system is used
- Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician
- Gray scrubs are required
- Orientation consists of 8 hours at assignment start
- All clinicians must badge in and out daily
- Return employees must have an employment end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable and must be active at time of consideration
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Must not have a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility
