A not-for-profit academic health system is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join their growing cancer program in western West Virginia.
Highlights:- Full-time, hospital employed position
- Large multi-disciplinary practice group
- Cancer program offers NCI-sponsored protocols as well as some industry-supported trials
- There are plans to update the gynecologic oncology brachytherapy equipment and start a radioisotope program shortly
- Multidisciplinary tumor boards in gastroenterology, sarcoma, breast cancer, lung cancer, and gynecologic oncology
- The Brainlab program is used for stereotactic treatment of the brain and spine, and the Varian TrueBeamis used for our other stereotactic treatments
- There is an active high-dose-rate brachytherapy program
