Locum Tenens Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery; 13-week contract in Vacaville, CA; 4 ten-hour weekday shifts/week; no call; mixed OR, clinic and inpatient duties; spine and brain surgery focus. - NCCPA-certified PA licensed or eligible in CA
- Spine/brain surgery experience required
- Comfortable with inpatient rounding, consults, pre/post-op clinic
- Surgical assisting experience and ability to manage 5–10 inpatients
- ACLS/BLS current (or facility-required equivalents)

4 ten-hour shifts per week with no call Surgical cases average 6 per week -- clinic sees 16 patients weekly Inpatient census ranges 5 - 10 active patients daily Works alongside one other PA Rotates between assisting surgeries and clinic duties Spine and brain surgery experience required Inpatient rounding and consult coverage Clinic duties include pre-op and post-op visits We provide complimentary housing and travel We arrange and cover costs for licensing and malpractice We simplify the credentialing and privileging process We provide first-day medical insurance and 401(K) Your personal recruiter handles every detail, 24/7 Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
