RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Start date: ASAP
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS (all via AHA)
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Provide quality care in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Demonstrate performance consistent with mission, philosophy and goals of organization
• Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
• Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to developmental age of patient
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with physical demands including prolonged standing, walking, and heavy lifting
• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies
• Requires manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and visual/hearing acuity within normal limits
