American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least two years of neuro, ortho, robotics, and liver transplant OR experience for a night shift contract in Oklahoma.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based Operating Room with 16 staffed beds and an average daily census of 60
- Night shifts are 4x10s from 21:00 to 07:30
- On-call required one night per week (7p–7a) and on holidays (11a–11p or 11p–11a); at least one Friday call shift required
- Patient assignment is 1:1
- Clinician must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities up to 75 miles away
- Charting is completed using Epic
- Block scheduling requests will not be accommodated
- Duties include circulating and scrubbing on neuro, ortho, robotics, and liver transplant surgical procedures
- All travelers must be willing to float to additional units and other facilities as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted; holiday or blackout dates are not allowed for RTO
- Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year separation from prior Integris employment
- Orientation includes 2–8 hours of modules completed during orientation, variable by specialty
- Scrub attire to be provided according to hospital policy
- No block scheduling will be considered for this assignment
- Active OK or compact state RN license required at the time of application
- Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience with neuro, ortho, robotics, and liver transplant cases required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
- Must obtain EKG/Dysrhythmia competency during compliance
- Current and valid driver’s license or state issued ID and a utility bill (cell, electric, gas, water, sewer, Wi-Fi, mortgage, or lease) with matching address dated within three months prior to projected start date
- Permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- No pending state licenses accepted
- No adverse actions on nursing license permitted
- Must provide two supervisory references for consideration
