We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physiatrist to join our growing, multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation team. This position is perfect for a physician committed to delivering exceptional, family-centered care and collaborating within a high-performing clinical environment. You will work alongside neurologists, neurosurgeons, therapists, and care coordinators to provide comprehensive, personalized rehabilitation for children with diverse medical needs.
Responsibilities• Assess and manage pediatric patients with neuromuscular disorders, brain and spinal cord injuries, developmental delays, tone abnormalities, and functional limitations
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans aimed at improving patient function, independence, and long-term outcomes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurology, neurosurgery, PT/OT, and care coordination services
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and coordinated treatment planning
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with families to support education and shared decision-making
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Experience with pediatric neurological or developmental conditions preferred
• Strong communication skills and a family-centered, collaborative care approach
• Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one
