Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Unit position requiring a valid IA or compact RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital Medical Surgical Unit
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for patients with diverse medical and surgical needs
- Must provide an image of both the front and back of the BLS certification card
- Team-based environment with focus on medical-surgical patient care
- COVID vaccination required
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- License verification must be dated within 30 days of contract start
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
