This position is flexible and would need to cover either Med/Surg or ER depending on the needs of the department.
**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:**
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. 2 years experience as an Emergency Room Nurse.
3. Current licensure in good standing in the state of California.
4. ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification mandatory. Need to have TNCC within one year of hire date.
5. Ability to work with others at all levels within the organization, and collaborate effectively.
6. Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.
7. Must be a team player to all departments, confidential of sensitive data, respectful of all other staff members, considerate of other peoples time, and accountable for work output.
All of our Nursing Staff is in Carobbean Blue scrubs. This is a requirement for accepting the position.
Please, be aware of the new update for traveler and registry
staff. All
temporary workers need to complete a Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
annually. To be proactive I would like this
to be collected from the agency prior to start rather than have to track when
each of them hit 100 hours worked or 30 calendar days after start. This needs
to start happening now since this was effective 1/1/21. The program must a a certificate of completion upon finishing.
Except as provided
in subdivision (l), beginning January 1, 2021, for seasonal, temporary, or
other employees that are hired to work for less than six months, an employer
shall provide training within 30 calendar days after the hire date or within
100 hours worked, whichever occurs first. In the case of a temporary employee
employed by a temporary services employer, as defined in Section 201.3 of the
Labor Code, to perform services for clients, the training shall be provided by
the temporary services employer, not the client.
