Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Matthews, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years of LDRP exp (RN); 2 years of Surgical Tech experience specific to OB
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
• RN: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP required
• Surg Tech: BLS required, national certification (CST) is preferred but not required
• Must have the skillset to work LDRP
• RN: Experience with the all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections, experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr testing, NAS scoring, lactation support
• Surg Tech: examples: Decontamination/Sterilization experience, sterile technique, comfortable providing assistance with vaginal and cesarean delivery
• Floating: Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital)
• If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
• Within region and scope of practice
• Will be required to float per region needs - will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice - DECLINE if not agreeable
• Weekend rotation: every other
• No call
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays - must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
• Shift times: 7p-7a
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
• Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
