Non-invasive Cardiologist needed for Immediate Coverage:
We are urgently seeking skilled providers to cover daily rounds, night call, and weekend call with rounds for both Phoenixville and Pottstown Hospitals near Philadelphia, PA. The providers will be required to request privileges for performing TEEs, reading Nuclear Stress Tests, and Echoes, with case logs to support the requests. Immediate coverage is needed from February 1, 2024, through February 1, 2025.
- Hospital Shifts: Day (7 am - 5 pm) / Night (5 pm - 7 am)
- Call In-house or Beeper: Cell phone/Secure chat in Epic
- Number of Phone Consults: 1-2 daily (advice only)
- Days for Call: Sunday through Saturday
- Call Start Time: Night call 5 pm
- Call End Time: Night call 7 am
- Age of Patients: 18 years old and above
- Schedule: Night Call Week 1:5, Weekend Call 1:5, Biweekly Rounding
Additional Information:
- Must read echocardiograms, stress tests, vascular studies, and perform TEEs
- Support staff includes RNs, MAs, PAs/NPs, office staff, and 5 Cardiology Providers
- Provider experience level with Epic: Clearly list your provider's experience level
Patient Interaction and Rounding:
- Patients Seen Daily: Varies based on hospital inpatient census and provider availability
- Rounding in Both Hospitals Every Day: Weekday rounding is scheduled for Monday-Friday, 7 am - 5 pm, at either Phoenixville or Pottstown Hospital based on coverage needs
Call Schedule Clarification:
- Night Call: Monday Thursday (5 pm - 7 am)
- Weekend Call: Includes phone calls and rounding on both Saturday and Sunday at both Pottstown and Phoenixville Hospitals
- All Call: Includes calls from both Pottstown and Phoenixville Hospitals
- Weekend Rounding and Call: Friday (5 pm) through Monday (7 am), with night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (5 pm - 7 am), and day shifts on Saturday and Sunday (7 am - 5 pm).
