Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine
Join our dedicated team as a General Medicine Provider in Houston, Arizona, serving our nation's Veterans through Compensation and Pension examinations and Separation Health Assessments.
Our facility supports the health and well-being of Veterans across the country. With options to work in a VES facility or your own office, we strive to ensure that our Veterans receive the care they deserve in a convenient and respectful environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment required.
- Complete necessary documentation including reports and addendums during work hours.
- Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or a background in general medicine.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Arizona.
- Board Certified in relevant specialty.
- DMA certification is required.
