- Wide scope including low- and high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, and surgical procedures
Assignment Details- Start Date: September 15, 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 1:2 rotation
- Current urgent need: Sept 28 (7am) - Oct 3 (7am)
- Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
- EMR: MediTech
- Privileges: Required (temporary privileges available)
- Estimated Credentialing: 10 days
- Patient Volumes: 5 patients per shift
- Department: 7 beds
- Trauma Level: I
- Support Staff: 19 RNs, 3 MAs, 3 APPs, 3 office staff
Requirements- Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN
- Active Kentucky license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Clean file for privileging
Clinical Details- Obstetrics:
- Low- and high-risk pregnancy care - FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) - OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) - Amniocentesis - Vaginal and forceps delivery - C-section decision-making and performance - Complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions) - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations- Gynecology:
- Office/minor procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP- Surgical GYN:
- Open - Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation) - Operative/major (ectopic, oophorectomy, cystectomy, LOA)Compensation- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
