St. George Regional Hospital is a 300-bed hospital and the major medical referral center for northwestern Arizona, southeastern Nevada, and southern Utah. We are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and serve as a Level II Trauma Center , caring for almost all trauma patients (except major pediatric trauma).

Job Details

• Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours/week
• Location: St. George Regional Hospital
• Additional Details: This position will cover both CT and X-Ray. Rad Techs invited to apply—will train into CT.
• Pay: $35.25/hr – $54.39/hr (dependent upon experience)

Essential Functions

• Maintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Assist and instruct students and other CT Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
• Provide appropriate patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT (RT)(R) Radiography Certification/Registration
• Relevant State licensure (where required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of CT experience
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
