Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring an active or pending OR RN license, BLS, PALS, and Epic charting experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a children's hospital
- Scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts weekly from 7:00 to 19:30
- Required to work every third weekend with occasional additional weekend shifts as needed
- Floating within the site and across the system is required for all travelers
- Patient care documented using Epic EMR, with prior Epic experience required
- Must complete all assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
- Mandatory low census cancellation may occur one shift per two-week pay period
- Refusal to float as directed will result in cancellation of the contract
- Scrubs may be any color except black or camo
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
Requirements
- Active or pending Oregon RN license with fingerprints submitted to the Board of Nursing
- At least 1 year of pediatric ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Proficiency in using Epic EMR system
- COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
