Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced LDRP RN with an active IN or compact license, AHA BLS, and NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn (LDRPN) hospital unit
- Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Local candidates are accepted with a reduced rate based on facility radius rule
- Care for mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum period
- Must provide two professional references and a copy of driver's license for consideration
- No COVID-19 vaccination requirement for onboarding
- Holiday and weekend coverage requirements may apply based on unit needs
- Travelers are encouraged to discuss contract extensions 45 days before assignment completion
- Candidates may only apply to one position within the health system at a time
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent LDRP RN experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics required
- Fetal monitoring certification or proof of recent competency completion (AWHONN, Relias, or similar within 2 years) if not covered on the competency exam
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification required prior to start
- Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and active US home address
