A leading outpatient clinic in Hazlet, New Jersey is seeking a Pediatrician to provide coverage for an upcoming leave of absence. This is an excellent locum opportunity to join a supportive pediatric team in an outpatient-only setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Location: Hazlet, NJ
• Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics (clinic only, no hospital work)
• Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Patient Load: 13-18 patients per day
• Support: Work alongside 3 physicians with additional support staff
• On-Call: None
• Holidays: Off on all 6 major holidays

Responsibilities:
The Pediatrician will be responsible for:

• Delivering comprehensive outpatient pediatric care
• Conducting routine exams, wellness visits, and managing acute illnesses
• Documenting patient encounters in EMR
• Collaborating with fellow physicians to ensure quality patient care
• Maintaining compliance with state and federal medical requirements

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active New Jersey Medical License
• Current CDS and DEA
• Strong background in general pediatrics, outpatient preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
