Registered Nurse - Cardiology Clinic

Role Overview:
Deliver expert professional nursing care within our Cardiology Clinic. This part-time day position balances autonomous clinical decision-making with collaborative teamwork to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care & Triage:Manage patient flow and perform telephone triage, providing clinical advice and recommendations based on established nursing standards.
- Acute Interventions:Coordinate emergent appointments, establish IV access, and administer medications as required by clinic needs.
- Patient Advocacy:Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for patient education, assessing learning needs for patients and families, and documenting all care and testing accurately.
- Care Coordination:Facilitate the entry of admission orders as directed by providers and oversee the management of expired clinical samples.
- Leadership & Delegation:Delegate tasks to clinical staff based on their competencies and Scope of Practice.
- Operational Support:Maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service; provide cross-coverage for Medical Assistant or LPN duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong assessment and interpretation skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional environment and superior patient experiences
