Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma setting in Ohio with EPIC and BCLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Work in an 18-bed Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma hospital
- Diverse surgical cases including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant
- Day and evening shifts available, with 8, 10, and 12 hour shift options
- Scheduled hours are 0630-2330 with 40 hours per week
- Call hours are Monday to Friday 2100-0630, and 12-hour call coverage during weekends
- Uses EPIC for patient records
- Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing, with focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns
- No time-off requests will be approved from 2/15/26 through 2/28/26
- Must adhere to established hospital and team protocols
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- At least 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center required
- Extensive scrub experience required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
