Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This high-paced, high-acuity environment serves a diverse patient population and requires a dedicated individual capable of managing critical situations effectively.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Handle various patient cases, including trauma, stroke, sepsis, and STEMI.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Required skills include peripheral IV insertion, and experience with stroke and sepsis protocols.
- Must be willing to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
