Critical Care Nurse - CICU

ScheduleShift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week with alternating weekends.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The ideal candidate should have a robust background in ICU nursing with specific skills in hemodynamic monitoring and advanced critical care procedures.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage patients with critical cardiovascular conditions.
- Administer medications and titrate vesicants, sedatives, and paralytics.
- Provide care for patients on vent support and manage tracheostomies.
- Perform critical procedures such as central line insertion, cardioversion, and chest tube maintenance.
- Interpret telemetry readings and hemodynamic data.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Must have ICU experience with proficiency in titrating vesicant medications and working with pressors.
- Familiarity with CRRT, IABP, and Impella is highly desirable.
- Understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup/interpretation.
- Current nursing licensure and relevant certifications such as CCRN are appreciated but not required.
