Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join us in supporting our nation's Veterans through Compensation and Pension exams as a Nurse Practitioner in the vibrant city of Houston, Montana. You'll work either from your own office or nearby facilities to provide essential health assessments without the burden of prescribing or treatment. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations.
- Complete reports and any necessary addendums following assessments.
- Utilize METs testing for evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own compatible laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification required.
- Active and unrestricted license in Montana.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Montana nursing license.
- AANP Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
- Must be willing to provide detailed certifications and documentation for credentialing.
