An Urgent Care Physician provides immediate medical attention to patients of all ages, treating common illnesses and injuries such as flu, allergies, sports injuries, and emergency cases including sutures and splints. The physician works shifts of 6 to 8 hours, managing 25 to 50 patients daily, and has access to on-site lab resources and off-site imaging services. They collaborate with a full clinic staff and multiple healthcare providers, utilizing EMR systems like Epic and maintaining BLS certification.
- Shift Details: 8 s and weekend is 6 hours but will work with us on 8 s if needed.
- Patients per day: 25 patients per day/ weekend coverage is more like 40-50
- Ages: All ages- Peds, Adults, Geriatrics
- Cases: Flu, allergies, sports injuries, emergency cases- sutures and splints, infections/ bronchitis
- Procedures: Examinations and have on-site resources which include Lab, x-ray and CT is available off-site.
- Certifications: BLS
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
- Support Staff: Full clinic staff and always have 2 to 3 providers at the clinic
