Assignment Details- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call only
- Schedule: Nights and weekends
- Call Frequency: 2-3 weekends per month
- Call Coverage: 24-hour call during scheduled weekends
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days (may be shorter with active PA license)
Clinical Details- Practice Setting: Hospital-based inpatient coverage and rounding
- Trauma Level: Level II
- ORs Available: 16
- Cases Per Day: Approximately 2
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Rounding Required: Yes
- Admissions: As needed
- Procedures include aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass, fistula creation, endovascular and open reconstruction for DVT, PAD, gangrene, vascular malformations, nutcracker syndrome, lymphedema, carotid stents, varicose vein treatment
- Support Staff: Full hospital ancillary support
Requirements- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
- Completed Vascular Surgery Fellowship
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- BLS and ACLS
- Clean malpractice history
- Must follow rate structure
- Local providers preferred
Compensation- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
