GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Kerrville, Texas.

RTO: No requested time off will be approved at this time (can be discussed)
Floating: Agency will float but primary need is for the maximum-security unit
Orientation: conducted Monday through Friday from 0800-1700, for approximately one month
Holidays: Must be willing to work 2/3 of the major holidays. Please submit in order of importance which holiday they prefer off
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2 years RN experience
- Psych experience is a must – experience working in a maximum-security unit
- Preferably 1+ years nursing experience in a behavioral health setting
- Charge nurse or supervisory experience is preferred
- Must be licensed by the state of Texas or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact for appropriate discipline (RN or LVN/LPN)
Shift: Variable - days, mids or nights 5x8s Orientation will be 4 weeks; M-F 8-5pm Case types: Behavioral Health Psych Maximum security Individuals who have been acquitted of a criminal offense and committed by the court to receive inpatient mental health services Inpatient psychiatric hospital
