Job DescriptionThe Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to obstetric patients, including those requiring high-risk interventions. The RN will be required to float within multiple facilities as needed and must adhere to strict compliance and certification guidelines.
Responsibilities- Circulate and scrub for C-sections.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform assessments on obstetric patients.
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and manage labor effectively.
- Administer medications and maintain IV therapies as required.
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Active New Jersey RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
- EPIC charting experience preferred.
- Successful completion of a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing is mandatory.
