This locum position seeks a Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to provide comprehensive maternal health care in clinic and labor settings across multiple Omaha-area facilities. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day clinical operations, performing maternal fetal procedures, and participating in night and weekend call coverage. The role requires strong clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, completion of relevant fellowships, and maintaining certifications including BLS, DEA, and NRP.
Summary:
We are seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for a locum position in Omaha, Nebraska. This opportunity arises due to a physician resignation, and the selected provider will cover clinics from 8 AM to 5 PM, participate in night call from 5 PM to 8 AM, and be available for 24-hour call weekends. The practice involves responsibilities across multiple locations while on call, including St. Elizabeth, Lakeside, and CUMC. This position offers a collaborative clinic setting with an emphasis on providing exceptional maternal health care.
- Provide care in a clinic setting and during labor and delivery.
- Cover all standard maternal fetal medicine procedures.
- Manage day-to-day operations and support staff in the clinic.
- Conduct consultations, including reading ultrasound for MFM and generalist purposes.
- Participate in night and weekend call as scheduled.
- Maintain electronic medical records using EPIC system.
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (REQUIRED).
- Completion of an Ob-Gyn Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship (REQUIRED).
- Current Nebraska Medical License (will consider candidates in the process of obtaining one - HIGHLY PREFERRED).
- Current BLS, DEA, NRP certifications (REQUIRED).
- Clean malpractice history preferred (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
- Availability upon name clearing (REQUIRED).
- Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Nebraska Medical License (consideration for those in the process).
- BLS, DEA, and NRP certifications.
