Nurse Practitioner (Pain Management)- Mesa, AZJob Type: Full-Time/Permanent
Shifts: Mon-Fri (On-site, day shifts)
Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pain Management Nurse Practitioner in Mesa, AZ. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with chronic pain. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct physical examinations and comprehensive patient assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide patient education on pain management strategies and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:- Completion of Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) degree
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
- At least six months or one year of pain management experience is required
- Certification in Pain Management (preferred or required, depending on regulations)
- Proven clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and pain management
- Experience in developing and managing treatment plans for chronic pain
