Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and product handling.
Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Location: Hobart, IN
Pay Range: $17 per hour
Shift: 6am-3pm
What's the Job?
- Process all inbound products, verifying manufactured part numbers, quantities, and other part information to ensure quality standards.
- Compare identifying information of incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities, reporting any issues to the Depot Supervisor.
- Match shipments to purchase orders and accurately enter receiving data on paperwork.
- Prepare received stock for inventory, organize, and label products according to company processes.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of receiving experience
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pickers, and reach trucks.
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Can pass background check
