A licensed Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist provides full-time psychiatric care across two outpatient clinics in California. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention. The role involves collaboration with clinical teams to ensure compliance with medical protocols and support best practices in mental health care.
We are seeking a California-licensed Psychiatrist for a full-time, in-person position, providing services across two outpatient clinic locations in Gilroy and Campbell, CA. The role involves working 2 days at one location and 3 days at the other, depending on the needs of each clinic. Typical working hours are 9 AM 5:30 PM or 10 AM 6:30 PM, with some flexibility required. As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside therapists and clinical program managers to provide psychiatric services, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with medical protocols and addressing any psychiatric emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams.
- Participates in clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Provides psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation.
- Provide support for after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary.
- Maintains licensure, attends required training, and represents the agency at city/state meetings.
Compensation:
- Full-time salary range: $410K - $430K annually.
- Part-time remote option available for Spanish-speaking candidates at $200/hour, classified as W2 employees.
