Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Full Time in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This role involves routine patrols and visible presence, while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. As this is an armed and driving post, you will be responsible for both patrolling and operating a vehicle as required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following all protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and controlling access as required.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or other personnel while performing security-related duties.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related incidents, emergencies, or alarms in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific training and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
