Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleFull Time 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) with holiday and every other weekend requirements, as well as 2 On-Call shifts per 4 weeks.
Job DescriptionThis position involves providing critical care nursing services and is cross-trained across multiple units including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Room (ER). Candidates must be comfortable floating to these various units as required.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain a safe and healing environment for all patients.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
- Current New York State RN License.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required through AHA or the RQI system.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or Critical Care Units.
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
