• Location: Washington, DC 20010 (DC nursing jobs)
• Setting: Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/9/2026 – End: 5/11/2026)
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm) or 4x10-hour days (8:00am – 6:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810 - $1940
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active DC Registered Nurse license (required for Washington, DC healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; hematology/oncology experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and BMTCN (Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse) certifications preferred
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Strong skills in care coordination, patient/family education, and central line care
• Two supervisor references required

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients undergoing stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy
• Manage post-transplant clinic appointments, testing, and communication between interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family teaching on immunosuppression, follow-up care, infusions, and medications
• Support patients with malignant hematology diagnoses, including lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and post-transplant care
• Perform central line blood draws and PICC line care
• Recognize and communicate abnormal lab values
• Participate in telephone triage and outpatient clinic operations
