An Operating Room Nurse provides specialized perioperative care by assisting in surgeries, monitoring patients pre- and post-operation, and maintaining sterile environments to ensure patient safety. This role requires a registered nursing license, Basic Life Support certification, and experience or training in operating room nursing practices. The nurse collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, supports new staff through precepting, and contributes to quality and safety improvements in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Shift: Days
Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. Preferred: CNOR.
- 6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
