Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Echocardiology, the Senior Echocardiology Technologist performs Echocardiographic procedures, assists physicians as required and does related work as assigned. The Senior Echocardiology Technologist also precepts echo students and is responsible for orienting new staff to the Echo department.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years experience as clinical technologist, or two (2) years as a registered technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
