About the Clinician's WorkdayThis orthopedic surgery locum tenens opportunity includes 3-4 clinic days per week (8 AM - 5 PM) and 24-hour call coverage for 7 days per month. The position is needed to support an existing full-time surgeon and provide both clinic and call coverage. The role involves general orthopedics and fracture care, with a clinic volume of 15-20 patients per day and variable inpatient volume. The facility is a 426-bed Level IV trauma center utilizing EPIC EMR. Support staff includes 3 CMAs, 1 RN, 1 RN supervisor, 1 radiology tech, 1 DO, and 1 APP in the clinic. Candidates must be board certified (or truly board eligible, if approved) and preferably hold an active license or be IMLC-eligible. Estimated credentialing time is 120 days.
