The Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center is seeking to hire an SCI/D Physician to join our Dynamic Team!
The Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders (SCI/D) Service is recruiting a physician (MD or DO) trained in Spinal Cord Medicine (Board Eligible or Certified in Spinal Cord Medicine preferred) or who has five years of experience with caring for patients with spinal cord injury or disorders as well as Physiatry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient panel, utilizing technology such as telemedicine to deliver comprehensive services (experience with adaptive sports is a plus).
- Provide a full range of services, including assessment and care for patients with acute and chronic Spinal Cord Injuries or Disorders (SCI/D).
- Perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, joint injections (shoulder and knee), and Botox treatments.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities to maintain high standards of patient care and outcomes, aligned with the goals of the SCI/D Care Line.
Qualifications:
- Physician (MD or DO) trained in Spinal Cord Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Certified in Spinal Cord Medicine preferred, or five years experience caring for patients with spinal cord injury or disorders and Physiatry.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
