This position is for a board-eligible General Surgeon to provide on-call coverage at a 163-bed hospital from November 1 to March 31. The surgeon will handle approximately 15 cases per shift including general surgery, adult and pediatric cases such as laparoscopic procedures, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties. Compensation is $1800 per shift with 24-hour call requirements and callback pay for physical responses on site.
