Seeking a licensed Internal Medicine Physician to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans in Houston, OR. Responsibilities include conducting interview-based and limited physical exams, documenting findings, and submitting reports without providing treatment. This is a PRN position requiring relevant certifications and the ability to work independently or from a designated facility.

This opportunity involves performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments at either a designated VES facility or your own office within a 50-mile radius. We are looking for compassionate General Medicine Providers to join our team and make a difference.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Document findings and submit reports, including any necessary addendums.
- Provide examinations on a PRN basis; work half or full days based on availability.
- Maintain a collaborative approach while ensuring no prescribing or treatment takes place.
- Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
- Prior experience with Compensation and Pension evaluations preferred.
- Background in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is highly regarded.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Active and unrestricted medical license required.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification is mandatory.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification is required.
