Orientation: ASAP (credentialing may take up to 2 weeks)
We are seeking an experienced Post Partum Registered Nurse to join a PRN pool in Panorama City. This is an ongoing contract where shifts are pre-scheduled and reassessed every 4 weeks to ensure consistent participation. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and committed to supporting new mothers and their newborns with high-quality patient care.
Contract Details- Length: Ongoing (6+ months possible)
- Schedule: Minimum 12 hours per week
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Commitment: Must work at least 1 shift per week (not suitable for those unable to commit)
- Scheduling:
- Shifts are pre-booked in advance (traveler-style scheduling)
- Monthly availability must be submitted in advance
- Facility may cancel shifts with at least 2 hours’ notice
- On Call: None
- Float: May be required within scope of practice
- Licensure: Active California RN License (expired licenses must be renewed; applicants in process should contact the senator’s office for expedited handling)
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- At least 1 year of Post Partum experience
- Preferred: Travel nursing experience (not required)
- Unit: Post Partum
- Facility Size: 218 beds
- Scrubs: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
- PPE: Fully provided; fit testing available on-site
- Parking: On-site parking available
- EMR: Epic
- Pay Cycle: Weekly (Sunday–Saturday)
