Locums - Phoenix, Arizona, Medical Oncology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role:• Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!• Coverage Dates: March 9, 2026 - Ongoing need• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM• Full-time coverage: 4 weeks per month• Weekend Coverage: Back-up call only for NP coverage• 24-hour call coverage required

Practice Setting:• Primarily outpatient oncology clinic attached to a hospital• Inpatient rounding on new consults and existing patients as needed• FTE: 1

Clinical Responsibilities:• Evaluation and diagnosis of new oncology patients• Ordering and management of chemotherapy and treatment plans• Review and interpretation of diagnostic imaging• Oversight of infusion services during chemotherapy administration• Inpatient consults and rounding for new and established patients

Support & Resources:• Highly experienced and collaborative care team including:- 2 Nurse Practitioners- 2 Program Coordinators- 2 Referral and Authorization Coordinators- 2 Medical Assistants- 2 Infusion Schedulers- 2 Registered Nurses dedicated to triage• EMR: Cerner

Candidate Requirements:• Board Certified Medical Oncology - Highly preferred• Active Arizona license or IMLC - Required• BLS - Required• DEA - Required
