This locum tenens position for an Interventional Radiologist in Vermont involves hospital-based procedural coverage including venous access, biopsies, embolization, and vascular interpretation. The role requires Monday to Friday day shifts with call coverage responsibilities and no outpatient clinic duties. Candidates must have board certification, active Vermont medical license, and completed IR residency or fellowship.
Specialty-Radiology: InterventionalCoverage needs: -Start: 9/15/25-End: 12/31/25-Chance to extendShifts: -Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm-If covering Procedures: OR M-F coverage. No call-If covering call M-TH: call overnight 5 pm to 8 am-Weekend call: 8 am Saturday to 8 am MondaySetting: -Hospital setting-Trauma level ICases: -Provider Scope of Practice: General IR day coverage, call coverage, and CTA/MRA vascular interpretation.-Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform: Venous access, biopsies, drainages, organ access, embolization, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, hepato-bilary/portal intervention.-Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 25 per week-Patient Load 5-7 procedures per day.
