Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology position requiring an active OK or compact license and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit
• Care for pediatric patients with complex hematological and oncological conditions
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments
• Document patient responses and update care plans
• Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegation of appropriate tasks to support staff

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or any compact state
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Basic computer skills are necessary
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
