Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a teamwork mentality, the ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback, and flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department. This department takes pride in serving a diverse, multi-cultural community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
- Utilize advanced skills and equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
- Document patient interactions using the Cerner system.
- Participate in unit-specific policies and guidelines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all before starting date), ENPC within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience in a high-volume ED with annual visits over 100,000 is preferred.
