- Base Salary: $55,000 – $65,000
- Bonus: Up to 10% annual bonus (performance-based)

Kitchen Manager – Role Overview

Kitchen Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily back-of-house operations, including prep, line execution, and food quality
- Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
- Manage food cost, waste control, inventory, and ordering
- Schedule BOH staff and manage kitchen labor and payroll
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Maintain recipe execution, portion control, and presentation standards
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and ongoing performance feedback
- Partner with restaurant leadership to ensure smooth FOH/BOH operations
- Maintain kitchen organization, systems, and equipment cleanliness
- Step in on the line or assist with production as needed during service
Kitchen Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of kitchen leadership or BOH management experience
- Strong understanding of food cost, inventory control, and labor management
- Experience in high-volume or scratch kitchen environments
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and BOH systems
- Proven ability to train, coach, and hold teams accountable
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Kitchen Manager – Preferred Background
- Experience in pizza, Italian, or casual dining concepts
- Background in structured kitchen environments with standardized systems
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting
